This book is a compilation of five years of blogging with the primary purpose of supporting Christians who have had to leave their spouses. It's also a call to Christian churches to embrace these persons with God’s love.

Author’s comment: After my divorce, I struggled with typical issues of divorce. But I was shocked to discover that a portion of the Christian community threw proverbial rocks at me. That discovery was followed by the realization that many other Christians experience the pain of being shunned by their faith communities. This led me to write my memoir, God, the Devil, and Divorce, and to begin blogging in support of divorced Christians. I pray my readers will find peace in realizing they are not alone, and will be reassured that God loves them no matter what.
Linda's Story
After recovering from my difficult marriage and painful divorce, I felt compelled to write my memoir, God, the Devil, and Divorce, to show how a marriage can come apart and how God wants to heal our broken hearts.
Of course, marriages and problems within marriages aren't exactly like mine. However, there are certain troubling themes that can be recognized and addressed. One of the problems in my marriage was the crazymaking my husband practiced. Several readers recognized similar behaviors in their own spouses. But I wanted to do more.
I decided to create a blog to give hurting people a platform on which to address issues that can destroy a marriage and to give them hope for a better tomorrow. God and Divorce Recovery is a compilation of those posts. This book is also a helpful resource to gain a better understanding of what people, especially Christians, are going through when their marriage ends.
